Weathershield Air Conditioning
Weathershield Air Conditioning is a family-owned-and-operated group of HVAC contractors based on Pembroke Road in Hollywood, Florida, with more than 35 years of experience in the field. The owners oversee a team of technicians who handle both residential and commercial work, and the company holds an HVAC license (CAC1814695) and a plumbing license (CFC1429653), along with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Air conditioning is the core of the business: installation, repair, and maintenance for all models and brands of central AC systems, plus heater installation. The company services all brands and is authorized by the Florida Power & Light Company rebate program to sell energy-efficient unit replacements, so a replacement unit can be paired with that rebate. Plumbing is the second licensed trade, with skilled plumbers fixing everything from leaking sinks and troublesome toilets to clogged drains and overflowing fixtures. Emergency service is a stated part of the offering: 24-hour emergency work is available for both plumbing and HVAC, which covers the burst pipe or the AC unit that quits in the middle of the night. Beyond the two main trades, the company cleans air ducts with specialized equipment to clear dust, bacteria, and germs that aggravate allergies, asthma, and other respiratory ailments, clears built up lint from dryer vents to reduce lint fire risk, and installs blown-in insulation made from eco-friendly renewable materials to stop the loss of cooled or heated air and bring utility bills down. Technicians use state-of-the-art equipment and technology, and the company states that all work complies with current state and local codes for efficiency and ecological requirements. Free estimates are offered, and the office can be reached by phone or through the contact form on the site.
