You fill out brief paperwork, then have a consultation with the doctor about your health related problems and potential treatment options. The doctor takes a history and runs specialized tests, and your condition may call for x-rays. Patients are generally given their first treatment during that same visit and leave with home instructions, and follow up visits are usually scheduled within 1 to 2 days.
