Gold Coast Dental Center is a general and family dental practice on East Commercial Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, led by Dr. Jerry Karedan alongside Dr. Brent Bracco. Pediatric visits cover cleanings, fluoride treatments and sealants, and sedation dentistry is available using nitrous oxide or oral conscious sedation for patients with dental anxiety. On the financial side the office accepts most PPO insurances, runs an in house Dental Savings Plan for patients without insurance, and offers financing through CareCredit and Cherry.

Cleaning and prevention
A professional cleaning by the hygienist, who scrapes along and slightly below the gum line to remove plaque and tartar, followed by a comprehensive dental exam by the dentist and x-rays when indicated.
Emergency dentistry
Care for broken teeth, severe tooth pain, lost fillings or crowns and dental trauma caused by an accident, including treatment for infections and knocked out teeth.
Implant dentistry
Titanium implant posts surgically placed into the upper or lower jawbone to replace a missing tooth root, restored with a crown and bridge, a complete or partial denture, or a combination.
Clear aligners and invisalign
Custom made clear aligners through Invisalign and SimplyClear to straighten crooked teeth, close gaps and address overbites, underbites and crossbites.
Cosmetic procedures

What dental services do you offer?
We cover cleaning and prevention with hygienist cleanings, comprehensive exams and x-rays when indicated, along with emergency dentistry, extractions, root canal and endodontic treatment, periodontal gum care, crowns and bridges, full and partial dentures, implant dentistry, pediatric dental care and sedation dentistry. On the cosmetic side we provide dental veneers, gum recontouring, teeth whitening and clear aligners through Invisalign and SimplyClear.
Do you take dental insurance?
We accept most PPO insurances. Please call our office to verify your eligibility. We will gladly file insurance claims for you to help you maximize your benefits, and we will contact your insurance company before scheduled treatment to determine your level and type of benefits. You are ultimately responsible for any amount not covered by your insurance.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
Ask us about our Dental Savings Plan. It is $365 per year or $35 per month and includes 2 professional cleanings, 2 regular exams and screenings, 1 perio screening, 1 intraoral scan, routine x-rays, an emergency exam and 15% off additional procedures. There are no premiums, waiting periods or co-pays.
Do you offer payment plans or financing?
Yes. For treatment plans over $500 you can apply for an interest free loan through CareCredit with fixed payments over 3, 6 or 12 months, and longer terms are also available with instant approval from a simple credit application. We also offer Cherry, which provides 3, 6, 12, 18 or 24 monthly payment plans with no hard credit check and no lengthy paperwork.
What are your office hours?
We are open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I get nervous at the dentist. What are my options?
We offer sedation dentistry using nitrous oxide, also called laughing gas, and oral conscious sedation. Nitrous oxide is delivered through a mask over your nose and its effects wear off quickly once the gas is discontinued, while oral sedation is a prescribed medication taken before the appointment that leaves you drowsy but still awake. We believe even severe dental anxiety is manageable and should not stop you from receiving essential care.
Who are the dentists?
Dr. Jerry Karedan has been in the practice of general dentistry since 2017. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida in 2011 and his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2017. He is a Certified Implant Educators Graduate, a Certified Invisalign Orthodontics Provider, a Certified SimplyClear Orthodontics Provider, one of The L.D. Pankey Alumni, and a member of the Florida Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Brent Bracco also practices at the office.
