JD Power Electric is a licensed electrical contractor based at 2170 NW 91st Terrace in Pembroke Pines, Florida, holding Florida license EC13015521 and describing itself as a local electrical contractor serving Pembroke Pines, Cooper City, Davie, Weston, Hollywood, and surrounding South Florida communities. The company states it is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in the State of Florida, and that its electricians follow all National Electrical Code and Broward County regulations. It works both residential and commercial jobs, and says on its own site that no job is too big or too small, handling everything from small wiring fixes to full commercial installations. Residential work covers ceiling fan installation with wiring, mounting, balancing, and remote control setup; recessed, track, pendant, and outdoor lighting; whole home surge protection against lightning and utility voltage spikes; water heater wiring; and general electrical repair for faulty outlets, flickering lights, wiring faults, and breakers that will not hold. Panel work is a core offering: the company upgrades outdated panels, replaces old fuse boxes, and lists 100A, 150A, 200A, and 400A replacements to meet modern power demands. It also installs Level 2 EV chargers and generator hookups, and handles electrical design and rewiring for remodels, kitchen upgrades, and home additions. On the commercial side JD Power Electric provides full commercial electrical contracting, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and maintenance for offices, warehouses, and retail spaces. It offers preventive maintenance programs so businesses avoid downtime, schedules work during off hours or weekends so operations are not disrupted, and installs LED lighting, smart controls, and energy efficient systems aimed at reducing a business's power consumption. The company says it is available 24/7 for emergency repairs throughout Pembroke Pines and nearby areas, naming power outages, sparks, burning smells, and other electrical hazards as reasons to call immediately, and states that in most cases it can dispatch a licensed electrician within the hour depending on the area. Estimates are free and carry no obligation. Pricing is described as transparent and flat rate with no hidden fees, and the ceiling fan service in particular is quoted at a flat rate. On diagnostics the company recommends a professional electrical inspection every three to five years, or sooner during a renovation, when adding appliances, or when problems appear. Its own guidance is specific: frequent breaker tripping points to a circuit overload or short circuit and should not be answered by repeatedly resetting the breaker, repeated or large sparks at an outlet indicate worn outlets or faulty wiring and the power to that outlet should be shut off, and lights that flicker when appliances start can signal voltage fluctuation or poor wiring connections. All installations and repairs are backed by a warranty and satisfaction guarantee. The company accepts cash, credit and debit cards, and digital payments, and says financing is available for qualifying installations or upgrades.
