Continental Imports is a family owned European auto specialist that has served Gainesville, Florida since 1978. The shop describes itself as central Florida's exclusive independent service center for Mercedes Benz, BMW, Porsche, Jaguar, Audi, Volkswagen, MINI, Volvo, Saab, Rolls Royce, Land Rover and some Japanese makes. Work covers oil and filter service, scheduled maintenance, brakes, cooling system repair, electrical repair, air conditioning, tires and alignments, batteries and initializations, transmission, programming and network configuration, and full security services including key coding by a licensed locksmith, all combined with computer diagnostics. Technician staff members each earn National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications, and the shop has been recognized by ASE as a Blue Seal of Excellence facility from 2009 to the present. Continental Imports is a Bosch Authorized Service Facility, the only Authorized Dinan BMW Performance facility in Florida, North Central Florida's Preferred Installer for the LN Engineering IMS retrofit for Porsche, and a Michelin tire dealer. Every repair is backed by the Continental Complete Confidence Warranty, a 2 year or 24,000 mile parts and labor warranty. The shop also offers pickup and delivery services, accepts extended warranties, and provides repair financing through the Bosch Service Credit Card or a Synchrony Credit Card.
