How long does a crown take?
The practice uses a CAD/CAM Cerec crown machine to digitize the tooth and fabricate a porcelain crown in the office. From the time you walk in until the crown is permanently cemented takes about two hours, so there are no impressions and no temporary crown to wear for two weeks.
