Advanced Chiropractic Clinic
Advanced Chiropractic Clinic is a multidisciplinary practice on S Pikes Peak Dr in Parker, Colorado, bringing chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture and platelet rich plasma care under one roof. Dr. Rebecca LaMaack Schwartz started the practice after graduating chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota, with the goal of building a clinic that embraces the best of both allopathic and alternative medicine. The clinic describes its vision as a healing environment where patients do not have to choose between conservative and mainstream medicine, and it maintains working relationships with providers in the medical community so patients can be referred on for imaging, spinal injections, or orthopedic and neurosurgical care when a case moves beyond conservative treatment. The in-house team includes chiropractors, licensed acupuncturists, physical therapists, massage therapists and a board-certified emergency medicine physician who provides ultrasound-guided PRP injections. Treatment methods range from manual adjustment and soft tissue release to spinal decompression, Class IV laser therapy, dry needling, cupping, cervical traction and injection therapy. Care plans are built per patient rather than sold as packages: the clinic states that it does not sell packages of care, that every patient has a unique protocol based on their needs, and that the average patient is seen in the office 7.6 times. Common reasons patients come in include back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, scoliosis, disc injuries, whiplash, concussions, work injuries, auto injuries and pregnancy-related pain. The clinic takes many insurances and treats on the same day as the initial evaluation unless imaging is needed first.
