Oak Arbor Care Corp.
Oak Arbor Care is a family-owned, locally owned and operated tree service based in Loveland, Colorado, founded in 2017 by Jake after his daughter Oakley encouraged him to turn a passion for trees into a business. The company is licensed, insured, and bonded, and all work is performed by ISA-certified arborists who follow ISA and ANSI standards and adhere to OSHA guidelines on site. Services cover tree removal and hazardous takedowns, tree trimming and fine pruning, ongoing tree maintenance and tree health management, stump grinding, brush removal, lot clearing for new construction, tree transplanting, planting consultation, soil amendments, and custom-brewed compost tea applications. Oak Arbor Care also runs 24/7 emergency tree service 365 days a year for fallen trees, storm damage, split or hanging limbs, and trees threatening a structure, with a dedicated after-hours emergency line. The company takes a preservation-first approach and assesses whether pruning, weight reduction, or soil work can save a declining or storm-damaged tree before recommending removal, and crews haul away debris and leave the property cleaner than they found it. Estimates are free for most residential properties, and every residential assessment for single-family homes is performed at no cost by an ISA-certified arborist.

FAQs
Do you offer 24/7 emergency tree service?
Yes. Oak Arbor Care provides 24/7 emergency tree services 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays, for fallen trees, storm damage, hazardous limbs, and urgent tree hazards. During business hours, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 6 PM, call (720) 899-0329. Outside those hours use the emergency line at (970) 217-6030, which is reserved for genuine after-hours emergencies. When you call, the team triages the situation, gives you safety guidance for the wait, and provides a realistic arrival window.
Are your arborists certified, licensed, and insured?
Yes. Oak Arbor Care is licensed, insured, and bonded, and all work is performed by ISA-certified arborists who follow ISA and ANSI standards. ISA certification means formal training, industry testing, and ongoing education in tree biology, safety, and proper pruning technique. The crew also adheres to OSHA guidelines on site.
Do you offer free estimates?
Estimates are free for most residential properties, and every residential assessment for single-family homes is completely free and performed by an ISA-certified arborist. The arborist visits your property, evaluates tree health, structure, soil conditions, and safety concerns, then explains what work is necessary and what is not. There is no pressure or obligation.
Can a damaged or declining tree be saved instead of removed?
Often, yes. Oak Arbor Care focuses on preservation and assesses root health, canopy condition, disease signs, and surrounding risks before making any recommendation. Targeted pruning, weight reduction, soil improvement, or soil health restoration can frequently bring a declining tree back. Removal is recommended for trees with large dead sections, deep trunk cracks, severe leaning with exposed roots, fungal growth at the base, hollow areas, or major structural storm damage.
How much does tree removal cost?
Cost depends on tree size, species, location, accessibility, proximity to structures or utilities, root condition, and whether stump grinding and cleanup are included. Smaller, easy-to-access trees cost less, while large or hazardous removals need more equipment and labor. Emergency and storm-related removals can vary with urgency and risk. Oak Arbor Care provides transparent on-site estimates once an arborist has seen the tree.
What is compost tea, and how does it help my trees?
Compost tea is a nutrient-rich liquid made from compost, water, and beneficial microbes that restores biological activity in the soil so roots can absorb nutrients more effectively. Colorado soil in this high-plains desert environment often lacks the microbial life trees need, which shows up as yellowing leaves on species like maples and oaks. Oak Arbor Care uses custom-brewed compost tea to encourage living mycorrhizae rather than salt-based fertilizers that need constant reapplication, and consistent treatment over three years can transform soil health.
Do you work with HOAs and commercial properties?
Yes. Oak Arbor Care provides long-term tree care programs for HOAs, property managers, and commercial properties, including multi-year maintenance plans. Those programs can cover tree inventories, pruning, hazard assessments, removals, stump grinding, soil care, fire mitigation, and emergency response, coordinated directly with property managers and boards.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel your job within two weeks of the scheduled date there is a $500 cancellation fee. If you cancel further out than two weeks there is no cancellation fee. Service members and first responders should ask about the discount policy, and the company also offers seasonal discounts during slower months.
