Thompson Valley Chiropractic is a chiropractic clinic at 2180 W Eisenhower Blvd in Loveland CO, co-founded in April 2000 by Dr. Jon-Eirik Holm-Johansen, D.C., B.Sc. and his wife Dr. Becky Holm-Johansen, D.C., B.Sc. Both doctors hold a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Bachelor of Science in Human Science from Northwestern College of Chiropractic, now Northwestern Health Sciences University, and both have been licensed in Colorado since 2000. They are Gonstead practitioners and members of The Wellness Champions, an organization focused on maximizing wellness in the workplace. The practice describes its work as locating and correcting spinal subluxations using the Gonstead System of Spinal Analysis, so that nerve system imbalances are corrected and the body can heal and adapt more effectively to life stressors. Its stated mission is to empower as many people as possible with positive life-altering chiropractic care so each individual may realize their full human potential. Dr. Becky is also certified in Quantum Nutrition Testing, which the clinic uses to identify weaknesses, deficiencies and invasive agents and to build whole-food-based nutritional recommendations. Massage therapy is delivered by Jessica, L.M.T., a graduate of Bear Heart School of Massage who works in deep tissue, Swedish, medical and sports massage, with pre-natal massage and cupping or guasha also offered. For athletes the clinic runs FDA-approved pre-concussion screenings that establish a baseline for youth in contact sports, plus youth sports injury care. Thompson Valley Chiropractic submits insurance claims on patients' behalf to UMR, United Health Care, CIGNA, Aetna, BC/BS, Medicare as participating providers and many other companies with chiropractic benefits, verifies and explains chiropractic benefits at the report of findings at no additional charge, and offers CareCredit as a payment option. Auto accident cases are accepted on a per case basis once details such as MedPay coverage are verified, and third-party claims are accepted on a lien basis with attorney representation. Office hours run Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30am to 6:00pm and Tuesday from 8:30am to 12:00pm.
