Imperial Rug Cleaning is a locally owned and operated rug cleaning shop at 101 Pratt Street, Suite E in Longmont, and the team has been cleaning rugs for 40 years. Work is done by hand rather than by machine, using an eight step process in which every rug is dusted, pre-inspected, hand washed, dried, and post inspected, with brushes chosen to suit the material and condition of the rug. The shop handles Oriental, Persian, wool, silk, Navajo, Chinese, Kilim flat weave and slit weave, and contemporary rugs, along with area rugs and Pottery Barn rugs. Alongside cleaning, Imperial offers guaranteed odor removal with pet urine treatment, spot cleaning, repairs to side cords and fringe, rug pads, protector, and storage preparation. The staff are Textile Pro certified, estimates are free, and pick-up and delivery is available in Longmont and the surrounding northern Colorado communities.

What kinds of rugs do you clean?
Imperial Rug Cleaning handles Oriental, Persian, wool, silk, Navajo, Chinese, and Kilim flat weave and slit weave rugs, as well as area rugs and contemporary or Pottery Barn style rugs. Size is not a barrier, and no rug is too big or too small.
How does your cleaning process work?
Imperial uses an eight step rug cleaning process. From front to back, your rug is dusted, pre-inspected, hand washed, dried, and post inspected. No automation is used. The team selects from a wide choice of brushes depending on the material and condition of the rug, which matters for the older pieces they regularly clean.
Can you get pet odor out of my rug?
Yes, in most cases. Imperial offers guaranteed odor removal along with pet odor and urine treatment. If you can see the design on the back of your rug, the team guarantees it can remove the odor. If your rug has a cloth or canvas type back, removal cannot be guaranteed.
Do you repair damaged rugs?
Yes. Imperial handles repairs on either the side cords or the fringe, and that work is done in the Longmont shop rather than sent out.

When are you open?
The Longmont shop at 101 Pratt Street, Suite E is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM and is closed on weekends. Imperial is also closed on major holidays. If the weather is bad, please call ahead to check that the shop is open.
