FAQs
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. A Master's Hands, LLC is a licensed business located in Littleton, CO, registered with the Federal government and the State of Colorado, and holds a residential contractor's license (Class-C General Contractor). The company is insured by Colorado Casualty Insurance with up to $2,000,000 in liability insurance, and a Certificate of Insurance can be obtained if required.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. A Master's Hands offers a 1-year workmanship warranty. If there are ever any workmanship issues, the team will come back and address them at no cost to you, as warranty work.
What are your hours?
The office is open Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday from 9am to 4pm, and is closed on weekends and major US holidays. If the phone is not answered right away, leave a message and the team will return your call.
Do you charge a trip or travel fee?
Rather than billing a trip charge separately, current rates cover all travel to client sites within the greater Denver metro area. For on-site estimates or work outside the Denver metro area, such as the mountain communities, Erie, Castle Rock or Larkspur, a special trip charge may apply.
Can I get a fixed price instead of an hourly bill?
Yes. A Master's Hands provides written proposals with Terms and Conditions and signature pages on a fixed-bid basis for larger jobs such as kitchen and bath remodels and basement finishes. Technicians may also, at their discretion, provide fixed bids on smaller jobs on a Statement-of-Work form while on-site.
What payment methods do you accept?
A Master's Hands accepts checks, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, credit cards and secure electronic funds transfers sent from a client's bank via Intuit's network.
Do you handle plumbing and electrical work?
The company's rates are for general handyman work involving basic plumbing or electrical tasks, not those tasks which require a state-issued plumbing or electrical license. A Master's Hands works with licensed master plumbers and licensed master electricians who are business partners to assist on projects where that is appropriate or required, and rates are higher when a licensed electrician or plumber is needed.
Do you work on commercial properties as well as homes?
Yes. A Master's Hands offers both residential handyman services and commercial handyman services, covering maintenance, repairs, remodeling projects and exterior work such as painting, siding, and downspout and gutter repairs.
