McDaniel Chiropractic
McDaniel Chiropractic is a Littleton chiropractic office on West Bowles Avenue where Dr. Tod McDaniel has provided natural care to the surrounding community since 1997. He graduated from Parker University in Dallas with a Doctor of Chiropractic that year and moved to Littleton with his wife to open the practice, drawn by the foothills, the ski resorts and the family-friendly setting. Care is built around three elements the practice considers essential to health: a spine and nervous system that function without interference, exercise, and nutrition. Adjustments primarily use Chiropractic BioPhysics, a method the office compares to braces for the spine because it combines specific adjustments with traction to remodel alignment, and Dr. McDaniel may also use Diversified Technique and the Activator adjusting instrument. Alongside adjustments, patients receive a specific exercise program matched to their condition plus individual nutrition advice and access to the practice's nutrition workshops. The office also offers non-surgical spinal decompression for bulging, herniated and degenerative discs, pediatric chiropractic for children of all ages, wellness care for patients who want to stay well rather than react to symptoms, and in-house massage therapy with therapist Megan. Common reasons patients come in include back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, scoliosis, disc injury, whiplash, work injuries, carpal tunnel, shoulder pain, arm and leg pain, pregnancy and vertigo. New patients can book a complimentary consultation with no obligation to go further, and office manager Gina O'Keffe has worked with Dr. McDaniel for 25 years.

FAQs
What chiropractic technique does Dr. McDaniel use?
He primarily uses Chiropractic BioPhysics, which the practice compares to putting braces on your teeth except that it addresses spinal alignment, remodeling the spine toward an ideal position with specific adjustments and traction. He may also use Diversified Technique and the Activator adjusting instrument depending on your case.
Do you offer anything for new patients?
Yes. The office runs a new patient special offer built around a complimentary consultation. You can meet Dr. McDaniel and the staff, talk about your issues and find out whether the practice thinks you are a good candidate for care, with no obligation to take it further. If you choose to continue, you can have a thorough examination and receive a customized plan.
What conditions do you see patients for?
The practice covers back pain, low back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, scoliosis, disc injury, whiplash, work injury, arm and leg pain, carpal tunnel, shoulder pain, numbness and tingling, radiating pain, pregnancy and vertigo.
Do you treat children?
Yes. The practice provides pediatric chiropractic care and says its examinations are thorough and suitable for children of all ages. The team discusses a child's treatment plan with parents every step of the way and provides only the care that is needed.
Can I book a massage without being a chiropractic patient?
Yes. Massage therapy is provided in-house and you do not have to be a chiropractic patient to schedule one, though the practice notes the two go hand in hand. If you are a chiropractic patient, Dr. McDaniel will tell you whether massage would help and will discuss goals for your case with Megan, the massage therapist.
How does spinal decompression work and how long does it take?
Spinal decompression is a gentle, non-surgical procedure that uses distraction and positioning to unload the spine and improve blood flow to the injured area across cycles of stretch and relaxation. According to the practice, sessions typically last less than 20 minutes, three times a week for one month, most patients feel pain relief with as few as 6 to 10 treatments, and most are released from treatment after 8 weeks.
Is care limited to adjustments?
No. The practice treats a healthy spine and nervous system, exercise and nutrition as the three essential elements of health. As part of your care Dr. McDaniel creates a specific exercise program appropriate for your condition, and you receive individual nutrition advice at appointments plus access to the practice's regular nutrition talks and workshops.
When is the office open?
