Lakewood Garage Door is a garage door company based on Nelson Street in Lakewood, Colorado, where the owners say they both live and office. Stuart started the business in 1991 with his wife Vonda after installing a door in a friend's barn, and the pair renamed the company Lakewood Garage Door in 2005. The team repairs garage doors and openers, replaces torsion and extension springs, repairs damaged door sections, and installs DoorLink garage doors and LiftMaster openers. A basic service call covers balancing, tuning, and lubricating the door and opener along with a safety inspection, and work starts only after the customer approves it. Installs and repairs are handled by personally trained employees rather than subcontractors, and the trucks are stocked with springs, rollers, cables, hinges, tracks, sheave wheels, drums, gears, sensors, remotes, and limit switches so most jobs can be finished on the first visit. Service labor and parts carry a 90-day warranty, and manufacturer warranties from LiftMaster and DoorLink are passed through to the customer.
