What happens at my first visit?
A dental assistant welcomes you and talks through your expectations and priorities, then Dr. Greenhalgh joins the conversation. You are offered a paraffin hand waxing before the examination. The exam covers your head, neck, throat, jaw muscles and jaw joints, your gums, lips and cheeks, floor of the mouth, bite alignment and the appearance of your smile, along with a Vizilite oral cancer screening, digital photos and full mouth X-rays. Dr. Greenhalgh then reviews the findings with you on a video monitor and you agree on a plan together.
