Health By Design Chiropractic is a chiropractic office and integrated wellness clinic at 1130 38th Avenue Suite A in Greeley. The site says Health by Design uses a holistic approach to treat your body, and that its chiropractors combine adjustments with muscle and joint strengthening for a comprehensive treatment that provides more relief between appointments. The practice sets out a three step process it calls Assess, Adjust, Integrate. Assess is the initial consultation, which the site says lasts 90 minutes with one of the chiropractors and covers what brought you in, your goals for recovery, your medical history, and any recent pain incidents, along with a physical evaluation. Adjust is the start of treatment, with an adjustment the site says lasts between 30 and 45 minutes. Integrate is the step the practice says makes it different: most chiropractors stop after the adjustment, while Health by Design designs a care plan that combines chiropractic, physical therapy, massage, nutrition, and medical treatments based on your specific needs. Jordan Martin, DC founded the practice and is a board certified chiropractor listed with the Diversified, Thompson, and Webster techniques. The site says she is passionate about helping patients heal at the root of their issue rather than masking symptoms, combines chiropractic care with functional medicine, rehabilitation, and movement, and is known across Greeley for her longer, intentional treatments and personalized care plans. She studied at Parker University, is a lifelong athlete, and says her own experience with chiropractic care after an injury is what inspired her to become a chiropractor. Tyler Adams, DC is also a board certified chiropractor who studied at the same chiropractic school, and the site says he believes the body was created to heal itself from the inside out and that precise chiropractic care is the best way to facilitate that process. For general adjustments the doctors use a blend of Manual and Activator styles, and the site says they are board certified in Diversified, Thompson, and Activator techniques. The Diversified Technique is described as a high-velocity, low-amplitude adjustment delivered by hand at a precise angle, depth, direction, and speed. The Thompson Technique uses a pneumatically powered drop-table. For patients who prefer a gentler adjustment without the pops, the doctors are trained on the Activator, ArthroStim, and Percussor tools, and the site says the ArthroStim suits infants, young children, patients with acute pain, older patients, and patients who found previous manual adjustments ineffective. Sports adjustments add a focus on athletic activity, and prenatal and pediatric adjustments follow the Webster Technique with modifications for each trimester. Beyond adjusting, the office is an integrated wellness clinic partnered with NOCO Healthcare. It offers SoftWave regeneration therapy, which the site describes as therapeutic acoustic energy waves that activate the body's natural healing abilities to reduce pain, speed recovery, and regenerate tissue without surgery, pharmaceuticals, or needles, in sessions averaging 10 to 15 minutes. It also offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy in a soft-sided pressurized chamber with 100% pure oxygen, in sessions ranging from 1 to 2 hours. The physical therapy team is supervised by a PT Coordinator the site says is trained as a CNA and sports medicine clinician, and general PT appointments run about 15 minutes with a certified physical therapist, after which the team sends a personalized exercise or stretching program to your inbox. PT treatments listed include soft tissue and myofascial release, cupping, scraping, stim and combo electrotherapy, and tapping. Wellness services include functional neurology and neurological support, neuropathy care, nutrition and functional wellness, lab analysis and functional testing, pain management and musculoskeletal care, hormone, thyroid, and adrenal health, digestive and gut health, and fertility and reproductive wellness. The office also lists Ion Cleanse and wellness plans. Neuropathy care begins with an evaluation the site says runs approximately 90 minutes and may assess sensation, reflexes, muscle strength, balance, coordination, circulation, gait, and neurological and musculoskeletal function. Appointments can be requested through the form on the site or by calling (970) 573-5955, and the office asks you to note whether you are a new or returning patient, the service requested, and whether you want a 30, 45, or 60 minute appointment.
