Chrome Pest Control, also known as Chrome Mosquito & Pest Control, is a locally owned and operated family pest control company serving Grand Junction and the surrounding Grand Valley. Dave and Courtney are natives of the Grand Valley and chose to stay in the area to live and raise their three kids. Dave earned a degree in biology from Mesa State College, now Colorado Mesa University, and worked for the Grand River Mosquito Control District and other pest control companies for many years. The team brings over 13 years of experience in pest control services along with an extensive background in construction. Chrome handles pest removal of any kind, big or small, commercial or residential, and covers bed bugs, birds, elm seed bugs, flies, mosquitoes, prairie dogs, roaches, rodents, spiders, termites and ants. General pest control is offered on monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly programs, and the company also runs targeted treatment programs for specific pests such as elm seed bugs, which first appeared on the Western Slope in 2017. Licensed technicians carry out the treatments, and for most services you do not need to be home as long as the crew has access to the property. The company says its number one priority is simple, it is here to help people, and it prioritizes building a relationship with each customer and communicating as clearly as possible. Chrome serves Grand Junction, Fruita, Palisade, Clifton, Orchard Mesa, Crested Butte and Delta.
