Bookcliff Family Dental is a general and family dental practice on Horizon Drive in Grand Junction, Colorado, owned by Dr. Ryan Helgerson, DMD, and staffed alongside Dr. Heidi West, DMD. The practice provides comprehensive dentistry for adults, teenagers, children and elderly patients, covering preventative care such as regular checkups, mouth guards and periodontal disease treatment, restorative work including dental implants, crowns and bridges, dentures, root canal treatment, fillings and sealants, tooth extractions and wisdom teeth removal, and cosmetic treatment including dental veneers, teeth whitening and ClearCorrect. Pediatric dentistry, sedation dentistry and myofunctional therapy are also offered. The team reserves space in the daily schedule for emergency dental appointments, and an insurance coordinator walks patients through claims. Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. Bookcliff Family Dental is accepting new dental patients and welcomes adults, teenagers, children and elderly patients in Grand Junction, CO. You can schedule your first appointment online or call the office at (970) 245-9570.
What are your office hours?
The practice is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Do you take dental insurance?
Yes. The office is in-network with Cigna, Unum and Delta Dental Premier PPO, and accepts most major insurance providers. If your provider is not in-network, your coverage depends on whether your plan offers out-of-network benefits. Please note that we do not accept Medicaid and we do not file Medicaid claims.
Can you see me for a dental emergency?
Yes. We offer emergency dentistry in Grand Junction and save space in our schedule to try to accommodate your dental emergency on the same business day you contact us. Call (970) 245-9570, or use the online scheduling link even if it is outside of office hours.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We offer pediatric dental services for young patients. Dr. Ryan Helgerson is an experienced pediatric dentist who focuses on preventive care, including regular check-ups and cleanings, along with education for you and your children on maintaining oral health at home.
What if I do not have dental insurance?
You can pay through our third-party payment providers CareCredit, Cherry or Sunbit, or sign up for the Bookcliff VIP Dental Savings Plan. Unlike insurance plans, the savings plan has no deductibles, waiting periods or annual maximums.
