Dr. Chris Cembalisty is a 1996 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic who has been trusted with patient care throughout the Grand Junction area since 1996, and he established the clinic in 1998. He is National Board Certified, Colorado State Board Certified to practice chiropractic, and Colorado certified to practice acupuncture. The office offers chiropractic care using a hands on diversified approach with Palmer techniques such as Diversified, Thompson Drop, Gonstead and Activator, along with family and pediatric chiropractic, prenatal care using the Webster Technique, massage therapy, StemWave acoustic wave therapy, and the Back on Trac table for axial distraction and decompression. Conditions treated include back and neck pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, scoliosis, shoulder pain, sports injuries, whiplash, vertigo, carpal tunnel syndrome and work injuries. The practice welcomes new patients, works with several insurance plans, and publishes a self pay fee schedule.

What are your office hours?
The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. It is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. The office welcomes insurance patients and currently participates with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna through the third party payer Columbine Health Plans, UMR and UnitedHealthcare. Because every plan is different, the team reviews your benefits at your appointment and provides an estimate of coverage. Chiropractic Family Health Center is a non participating provider with Medicare, and as a courtesy the office submits Medicare claims on your behalf.
What does a visit cost if I pay out of pocket?
The published self pay fee schedule lists a new patient initial evaluation at $45, a chiropractic adjustment at $55, and a re-evaluation at $30. The re-evaluation rate applies to patients with a new injury or those who have been inactive for six months or longer.
What payment methods do you accept?
The office accepts cash, personal checks, debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered, and a $2 convenience fee is added to all credit card transactions.
Do you treat children and pregnant patients?
Yes. Pediatric adjustments use safe and precise techniques tailored for infants and children, and prenatal care is provided by a practice certified in the Webster Technique, which focuses on balancing the pelvis.
What is StemWave?
StemWave is a non invasive, drug free treatment that uses acoustic waves to increase blood flow and reduce inflammation. Treatments take five to ten minutes, visits average about 10 to 15 minutes, and care plans commonly range between 8 and 12 sessions.
