Greyrock Family Dentistry
Greyrock Family Dentistry is a dental practice on Robertson Street in Fort Collins, Colorado that has been serving the community since 1981. Dr. Joseph Roeder, a licensed family dentist who graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2013, joined the practice as an associate in 2017 and became a partner and owner before renaming it Greyrock Family Dentistry in September of 2018 after his favorite hike in the area. The team treats children and adults, and its work spans preventive care, restorative dentistry such as fillings, crowns and bridges, prosthetic dentistry including inlays and onlays, veneers, dentures, partial dentures and dental implant restorations, and cosmetic dentistry ranging from at home whitening to composite bonding and dental veneers. Local lab technicians are used whenever possible. The office also fits custom mandibular advancement devices for patients already diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Roeder sums up his approach as talking through the risks, benefits and alternatives of every option so patients can choose what suits them, and the practice is currently accepting new patients.

FAQs
What are your office hours?
We are open Monday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Office hours can vary due to weather and holidays, so please check our Facebook page for updates on office closures.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we are currently accepting new patients. Our practice is unique in that our patient base has been almost exclusively based on word-of-mouth referrals for over 30 years, and we treat many members of the same family.
What should I do if I have a dental emergency after hours?
Our office number has Dr. Roeder's cell phone number on the voicemail. Please leave a brief message with your name, the best number to reach you and your dental concern, and we will return your call as soon as we can. During business hours, call us at (970) 484-6880.
Which dental insurance plans do you take?
We are in-network with Delta Dental Premier, the Aetna PPO Extend Network, and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield plans including PPO 300/Complete, Anthem PPO Plus, FEP Blue and Grit +. We also accept out-of-network plans from Cigna, MetLife and United Concordia. We are not a Medicaid provider and are not enrolled in Health First Colorado. Please call the office to verify your coverage, and ask for a free benefits check if your plan is not on our in-network list.
How can I pay for my treatment?
Payment is expected at time of service. We accept most credit cards, CareCredit and HSA cards, and we are happy to discuss in-office payment plan options on a case by case basis. We offer a 5% discount for patients who would like to pay with cash or check for their dental services.
Do you treat sleep apnea?
We offer mandibular advancement devices, most commonly the EMA and the Silent Nite, for patients who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea. We do not offer any diagnostic services for sleep disorders, so we highly recommend a sleep study be completed first, usually through your pulmonologist. Our office does not submit to health insurance and dental insurances do not cover these devices, so payment for the device is required at the consultation date. We always offer free follow up visits to address adjustment concerns.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you give our office a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to reschedule. Any appointment cancelled less than 24 hours before is considered a missed appointment, and a fee of $60.00 is charged to your account. This fee cannot be billed to insurance.
What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a photo ID, your dental insurance card and a list of the medications you are currently taking. You will be asked to complete a patient registration form and a medical and dental history form.
