Fredell Enterprises is a family-owned and operated landscaping company in Colorado Springs, Colorado that has been landscaping the Front Range since 1984. Owner Michael Tarpley leads a full-service design and build operation covering landscape architecture, design and construction, with work that includes xeriscaping, retaining walls, water features and fountains, outdoor lighting, stone landscaping, pathways, dry river beds, plant landscaping, rocks and boulders, irrigation and sprinkler system installation, patio seating walls, garden art, decks and patios, outdoor kitchens and barbeques, and new home landscaping. The team works with homeowners to build outdoor living spaces suited to the local climate, soil conditions and native plants of the Colorado Springs area. Initial consultations with the homeowner are free, and the company takes on landscaping projects with a minimum service fee of $20,000. Fredell Enterprises does not offer lawn mowing, snow removal, yard cleanup, 3D design, or private pool installation.

Do you charge for a consultation?
Initial consultations with the homeowner are free. Fredell Enterprises does not provide free estimates.
Is there a minimum project size?
Yes. Fredell Enterprises only takes on landscaping projects with a minimum service fee of $20,000.

Do you offer a warranty on plants?
Yes, within limits. The full-replacement warranty on greenery is good for up to 3 months after planting, and unsuccessful plants are replaced at no charge during that period. From 3 months up to one year after planting, only the wholesale cost of the replacement plants is charged. Replacement cannot be guaranteed if the homeowner does not water the plants.
Do you install sprinkler systems?
Sprinkler systems are installed as part of a larger landscaping package, not as an isolated project. Fredell Enterprises does not winterize sprinkler systems, start sprinkler systems, or provide sprinkler system repair.
Do you provide lawn mowing, snow removal or yard cleanup?
No. Fredell Enterprises does not provide lawn mowing, snow removal, or yard cleanup services, and does not take on isolated maintenance work.
Will you work from a design created by someone else?
Yes. If you have a design prepared by a licensed architect, you can email a copy to Fredell Enterprises for review.
