FAQs
What services do you offer?
Nicholas provides a wide range of residential and commercial handyman services, including door and window repair, drywall, cabinets, tile, plumbing, electrical work, framing, trim carpentry, fixtures, and fence and gate repair. If it is broken, worn out, leaking, squeaking, or sticking, he can usually fix it, and if a job is outside his scope he will help connect you with the right local pro.
Do you take upfront payment?
No. You agree on the scope of work in writing, Nicholas completes the job, and only then is a Square invoice sent. Payment is due only after the work is 100 percent complete.
How is payment collected and what does it cost?
Once the job is finished, Nicholas sends a Square invoice to your email that you can pay by credit, debit, or CashApp. Materials are billed at cost with no markup. The minimum repair charge is $150, with pricing based on the time, complexity, and materials involved.
How do emergency services work?
Emergency service applies to work needed before 9 AM or after 5 PM. Call first, and follow up with a text if there is no answer. If Nicholas can take on the request during those hours, the minimum emergency service charge is $275, with final pricing depending on the scope of work.
What areas do you service?
Nicholas is based in Monument, Colorado, and serves Colorado Springs and the surrounding Front Range, including Fountain, Manitou Springs, Peyton, Castle Rock, and Larkspur. There is no trip fee for most jobs in these areas; farther-out jobs may include a travel fee.
Are you certified for plumbing and electrical work?
Yes. Nicholas holds certifications as a plumber, electrician, and framer, so he can handle plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs in addition to general handyman work.
