Mountain Springs Advanced Dental is a Colorado Springs dental clinic on East Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard providing comprehensive family, cosmetic and prosthetic dentistry. The practice is led by Dr. Benjamin Patterson, a board-certified prosthodontist specializing in restorative and rehabilitative dentistry, alongside Dr. Cherrington, a board-certified maxillofacial prosthodontist, and Dr. Jesse Adamson, DDS, who expands the preventive and general dentistry offerings. Services span routine check-ups, cleanings and dental exams, dental hygiene and periodontal therapy, treatment planning, fillings, crowns and bridges, root canals, tooth extraction and emergency dental care, plus cosmetic and prosthetic work including teeth whitening, bonding and veneers, clear aligners, dentures and dental implants. A state-of-the-art in-house dental laboratory lets the team fabricate custom crowns, bridges, dentures and other restorations on site for faster turnaround and tighter quality control, though some cases are still sent to an outside lab for certain services. CEREC technology and digital 3D imaging support same day crowns designed, milled and placed in a single visit. What are your office hours?
We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The office is closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Call us at (719) 576-3661 to schedule.
Can I get a crown in a single visit?
Yes. Our CEREC technology and in-office milling machine let us take digital impressions, design your crown and mill it from tooth-colored ceramic during the same appointment, so you leave with a permanent, custom-fitted crown instead of a temporary one.
What difference does your in-house lab make?
Our on-site dental laboratory fabricates custom crowns, bridges, dentures and other restorations with precision, which means faster turnaround, enhanced quality control and restorations built to your exact specifications. In some instances a case is sent to an outside lab for certain services.
Do you handle dental emergencies?

Which dental insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most dental insurance plans, including Aetna, Anthem BCBS 300, Cigna, CNIC Health Solutions, Connection Dental, Community Care VA network, Delta Dental PPO and Premier, GEHA, Guardian PPO, Humana, Lincoln Financial Group, MetLife, Principal Financial Group, Sun Life Financial, Tricare Dental Program, United Concordia and United Healthcare PPO. Who will I see at the practice?
Dr. Benjamin Patterson is a board-certified prosthodontist specializing in restorative and rehabilitative dentistry. Dr. Cherrington is a board-certified maxillofacial prosthodontist who treats defects or disabilities of the facial and oral structures and is available on select Fridays. Dr. Jesse Adamson, DDS, expands our preventive and general dentistry offerings and completed the Army's Advanced Clinical Practice in General Dentistry Program during his time at Fort Carson.
How long will my first appointment take?
An initial evaluation typically takes between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the complexity of the treatment you need. Radiographs and impressions for models are usually taken at that first appointment, and the front desk will give you an idea of how long later appointments will run.
I am allergic to latex. Can you treat me?
Yes. Mountain Springs Advanced Dental is a latex-free clinic.
