Lovett Family Chiropractic is a chiropractic office at 12201 E Arapahoe Rd B10 in Centennial, Colorado, led by Dr. Patrick Lovett, DC. The practice combines specific chiropractic care with non-surgical spinal decompression and says its aim is to be the chiropractor of the South Metro Denver area. Dr. Lovett is a graduate of James Madison University who earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic and went on to earn a post-graduate certificate in Chiropractic Clinical Neurology, a certification the practice notes less than 1% of all chiropractors have achieved. He also has training to see babies, children, adolescents and pregnant women, and since 2008 he has worked with adults, kids, infants, athletes and seniors. The office summarizes its approach as we do not guess, we test: every new patient gets a thorough chiropractic exam covering detailed history, orthopedic, neurologic and range of motion testing, and digital x-rays are almost always taken to pinpoint exactly where proper movement is missing in the spine. Care follows a four step protocol the practice calls Better Results Faster, which starts with the exam and x-rays, then restores motion with biomechanically and neurologically correct adjustments, then teaches specific exercises to strengthen and stabilize the spine, and adds non-surgical spinal decompression as clinically indicated to take pressure off the disc and nerve. Every patient gets an individualized treatment plan built from their exam findings, x-ray results, symptoms and health history rather than a cookie cutter plan, and Dr. Lovett tailors his adjusting technique to each patient's preferences and comfort level. Conditions treated include lower back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, sciatica, disc injuries, pinched nerves, shoulder pain, TMJ, whiplash, scoliosis, vertigo, arthritis and car accident injuries, along with care for pregnant moms and kids. The office is in network with the vast majority of Colorado health insurance plans, verifies benefits after the initial exam so patients get an accurate out of pocket estimate before treatment begins, and offers a $49 new patient special covering the first two visits. Its customer service has been recognized as superior by industry leaders Integrity Management and WinnersEdge Consulting.

Services

Specific chiropractic care

Specific chiropractic care

Biomechanically and neurologically correct chiropractic adjustments that restore proper motion to the spine and take stress off the nerve. Dr. Lovett uses several different techniques so adjustments can be tailored to each patient's preferences, comfort level and what they need to get results.

Digital spinal x-rays

Digital spinal x-rays

Digital x-rays are almost always performed to determine exactly where the lack of proper movement is in the spine and which specific vertebrae need to be addressed. X-rays are typically taken on the first visit.

Non-surgical spinal decompression

Non-surgical spinal decompression

As clinically indicated, non-surgical spinal decompression is used to take pressure off the disc and off the nerve.

Functional neurology

Functional neurology

Dr. Lovett is a Certified Chiropractic Clinical Neurologist and applies that post-graduate training every day in the way he evaluates and treats patients.

MRI review

MRI review

Review of MRI imaging as part of understanding a patient's condition and building the care plan.

Certified Chiropractic Clinical Neurologist

Dr. Lovett earned a post-graduate certificate in Chiropractic Clinical Neurology, a certification the practice notes less than 1% of all chiropractors have achieved, and he applies that training every day when he evaluates and treats patients.

We do not guess, we test

Every case starts with a thorough exam covering detailed history, orthopedic, neurologic and range of motion testing, and digital x-rays are almost always taken to show exactly where proper movement is missing in your spine.

An individualized treatment plan

Every patient's plan is built from their own exam findings, x-ray results, symptoms and health history. The practice specifically says it does not use the cookie cutter plans offered by some other offices.

Benefits verified before treatment starts

After the initial exam the office always verifies a patient's insurance benefits to give an accurate estimate of out of pocket costs before beginning any treatment protocol.

More than adjustments

Alongside specific chiropractic adjustments the office offers non-surgical spinal decompression, therapeutic exercise, digital spinal x-rays, MRI review, posture evaluation, functional neurology and Class 3 cold laser.

Since 2008 Dr. Lovett has been helping adults, kids, infants, athletes and seniors with a wide variety of conditions.
Do you have a new patient offer?
Yes. The office advertises a $49 new patient special. The first visit includes a consultation, case review, careful exam, X-rays if necessary and an initial adjustment, and the second visit includes the doctor's report of findings, care plan recommendations and treatment if you decide to move forward. It is not valid with any other offers or promotions, restrictions apply, and you must mention the coupon at the time of scheduling.
Do you accept my insurance?

Call (720) 747-1500 for a complimentary benefits check if you do not see your provider listed.
What happens at my first appointment?
The consultation, exam and x-rays are all performed on the first visit along with an initial relief treatment. Dr. Lovett discusses your case history, performs a physical examination, and typically takes x-rays because they provide insight into the condition of the spine that cannot be felt by the chiropractor. You will also typically receive an adjustment on the first visit unless there is a contraindication.
How long do appointments take?
Your first two appointments are more in depth and typically take 15 to 30 minutes. Subsequent appointments can take 10 to 25 minutes depending on which services Dr. Lovett determines to be most beneficial for you.
How do I schedule my first appointment?
Use the Schedule Your Appointment link at the top of the website, enter your information and pick a time that works for you, and you will receive a link to the new patient paperwork. You can also call the office at (720) 747-1500 and the staff will get you scheduled.

How do you measure whether care is working?
The office performs re-examinations every 10 to 12 visits, measuring spinal range of motion along with orthopedic and neurologic improvements. It relies on a combination of subjective and objective testing to gauge how you are responding and whether the care plan needs to change.
