How do you protect my home during an interior project?
The crew moves all furniture and belongings to the center of the room and covers them with plastic, masks ceilings and trim, lays drop cloths across the work area, and removes light plates, socket plates and vent covers. At the end they remove the masking, replace everything they took off, vacuum and sweep, and put your furniture back where it was. All the company asks is that you remove sentimental items from the area being painted.
How do you prepare an exterior before painting?
Preparation is the most important step, and on an average home the crew spends at least one full day on it. They pressure wash the entire exterior, scrape loose paint and sand the remaining edges tight, apply slow dry oil primer to wax bleed through areas and any spot that was sanded or scraped, caulk all gaps with SherMax urethanized elastomeric caulk, and mask before spraying the body and brushing and rolling the trim.
