The construction side handles basement finishing, tile installation and repair, kitchen remodels, shower conversions, painting, complete bathroom remodels and new decks. Tiling and flooring work is backed by 25 years of experience in tiling and includes tile installation, tile repair, tile backsplash, engineered and laminate wood floor installation and luxury vinyl plank, while 14 years of experience in carpentry covers stair and deck repair or refresh, custom shelving, trim carpentry, finish carpentry, window and door installation, window covering installation and closet systems. Home Handyman CR also offers two ongoing maintenance memberships. The 12-point Silver Plan is $59.99 per month and includes a one-time Initial Home Assessment plus two, two hour maintenance visits over the course of a year, and the 18-point Gold Plan is $79.99 per month and adds a third two hour visit along with everything in the Silver Plan. Members receive a discounted handyman rate of $80 per hour instead of $90 and a free one-inch furnace filter on every visit. There are 25 years of experience in tiling behind our tile installation, tile repair and tile backsplash work, along with engineered and laminate wood floor installation and luxury vinyl plank. Carpentry is backed by 14 years of experience and covers stair and deck repair or refresh, custom shelving, trim carpentry, finish carpentry, window and door installation and closet systems.
What is included in the Silver and Gold maintenance plans?
The Silver Plan is $59.99 per month and gives you a 12-point maintenance list, an Initial Home Assessment and two, two hour maintenance visits over the course of a year. The Gold Plan is $79.99 per month, includes everything in the Silver Plan plus an 18-point list, and adds a third two hour visit. Both plans cover items such as fire extinguisher inspection, smoke and carbon monoxide detector testing and battery replacement, GFCI outlet testing, furnace filter changes, toilet and interior plumbing leak inspection, ceiling fan rotation, sink drain cleaning, grout and caulking evaluation and exercising plumbing shutoff valves.
What is the Initial Home Assessment?
All plans provide a one-time Initial Home Assessment, an intensive inspection of your home and its major systems and appliances. It covers exterior wall coverings and trim, doors, decks and walkways, plumbing supply and drain systems and the water heater, electrical panels, lighting, switches and receptacles, heating and cooling equipment, and interior walls, ceilings, floors, stairs, cabinets, doors, windows, garage doors and exhaust systems. It lets us identify the materials needed for regular maintenance and get familiar with your home so visits run efficiently.
Are materials included in a maintenance plan?
Materials are not included. They may be provided by the customer or by Home Handyman CR at an additional charge. Members do receive one free furnace filter per visit in the one-inch versions.
Can I cancel a maintenance plan?
The plans are annual subscriptions because most of the work is completed in the first part of the year. You may cancel at any time, but 12 months will be billed.
