5th Gear Automotive is an independently owned and operated automotive service facility in Broomfield, Colorado, providing full service care for domestic and foreign automobiles and light-duty diesel trucks for individuals and commercial accounts. The shop is owned and operated by Eric Gibson and Erika Strauss, who purchased the business in January 2017. Services include advanced vehicle diagnostics, brake repair and replacement, suspension services, electrical system repair, wheel alignment, transmission repair, engine and powertrain work, drivetrain repair, diesel system services, and general maintenance. The facility runs 11 full service bays equipped with factory dealer scan tools, factory-authorized diagnostic software, Auto Logic for European cars, and Mustang 1100 chassis dynamometer testing, and it is staffed by ASE Certified technicians. 5th Gear Automotive is a NAPA Auto Care center and a member of the Automotive Service Association of Colorado, and qualifying repairs are backed by the NAPA Auto Care Peace of Mind Warranty. Appointments can be booked online, and financing is available through Affirm, Klarna, and NAPA EasyPay.
