Canyon Chiropractic Center is a chiropractic office at 2625 28th Street in Boulder, Colorado, and it describes itself as the go-to Family Chiropractor in Boulder CO, caring for the whole family's well being. Dr. Craig D. Pearson graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic with a doctorate in chiropractic, magna cum laude, in 1997, and has practiced in Boulder since 1997. He holds an advanced certification in Whiplash Trauma from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego and uses chiropractic techniques taught at Palmer College, with an emphasis on Sacro Occipital Technic (SOT) taught by Sacro Occipital Research Society International (SORSI), where he served as President in 2013. He is joined by Dr. Abi Hydock, who graduated from Logan University with her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2020 and specializes in holistic medicine and in pediatric and pregnant patients, using primarily Sacro-Occipital Technique, the Webster Technique, fascial unwinding and Acupuncture. The office says its main goal for patients in pain is to help them get out and stay out of pain, and that it takes time to educate patients about how to keep the nervous system, immune system, and body structure all working together. Alongside adjustments the clinic uses passive modalities including electrical stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound, cold laser and kinesiotaping, plus soft tissue work such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and instrument assisted work on scar tissue and adhesions. Other listed therapy options include deep tissue therapy, muscle stimulation, shoulder, knee and ankle adjustments and corrections, the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), cranial sacral therapy and sports performance adjustments. For patients with abnormal or lost spinal curves the office offers a technique called Pettibon spinal rehab. A dedicated auto injury service covers whiplash injury, back pain, migraines, sciatica, disc problems, pinched nerves, muscle injury and sprained or strained joints and ligaments. Pricing is published on the site, monthly Optimum Wellness Plans are available for ongoing care, and appointments can be requested online.
