Yes. American Quality Roofing gives 15 year workmanship and 50 year manufacturer defects warranties. The workmanship warranty covers leaks due to faulty workmanship, and the manufacturer's warranty covers defects of the product itself. Call for more details.
How much experience do you have?
The owner of the company has been in the roofing trade since 1994 and started American Quality Roofing in February of 2008. All employees are journey level roofers or work directly with a journey level roofer on every project, and every project is quality checked at certain points by the owner.
Who handles the permits and inspections?
American Quality Roofing includes getting all necessary permits, scheduling inspections and standing by to meet inspectors until the work is finaled. A copy of the finaled permit can be provided after it is signed off if you request it.
Does the price in the contract include all materials, labor and taxes?
Yes, the price in the contract includes everything. The only possible way you may receive a change order is if the crew discovers your roof had more layers to remove than known about, or finds dry rot that needs replacing after the old roof is removed and the wood inspected. Rates for dry rot replacement and extra layer roof removal are listed in the contract.
How long does a full roof replacement typically take?
A full roof replacement on a typical residential home usually takes between 2-4 days, but can vary due to the size of the roof, the steepness of the roof, how much detail the roof has, or whether there is dry rotted wood that needs replacement.
What shingle manufacturer do you recommend?
American Quality Roofing recommends CertainTeed shingles as they have the best reputation for quality and are the number one shingle used on the west coast. Other brands such as Owens Corning or GAF can be accommodated if you prefer.
