Is the estimate really free?
Yes. The estimate is free, and if it is determined that the client would be best served by a design, then the designer will provide a proposal.
What happens if a plant or tree dies?
Contact Westack within one year with pictures and the plant name, and the team will review it on site. Coverage includes a one-time replacement warranty. The best time to replant is generally spring or fall.
How long will my project take?
It depends on the complexity and size of the project. Some projects take one to two days, while larger jobs can run several months.
How long do I have to wait for installation to start?
Installation typically starts in three to four weeks during winter and summer, and four to eight weeks during the busier spring and fall seasons. Plant availability, permitting, or engineering can add time.
Who handles permitting and engineering?
All permitting and engineering is the responsibility of the client. Westack offers assistance services for a fee through partner companies, particularly on projects involving height-restricted walls and sediment control.
Does the crew clean up after the project?
Yes. After every project the crew cleans up and, as much as necessary, attempts to restore areas that were disturbed, including overseeding or oversodding where needed.
Can I do my project in phases?
Yes. Projects can be completed in phases, and the designer will work with you to determine the appropriate phases and the order they should be done in.
