How does pricing work?
JunkMates schedules a free in-person estimate to see the junk that needs to be removed. Pricing is based on how much space the junk takes up, how heavy the items are, and how difficult it is to pull them out of the space they are in.
Do you offer same-day junk removal?
Yes. Same-day and next-day pickups are offered. If you need an exact time of day that works best for you, it is best to book the appointment up to 48 hours in advance.
What areas do you serve?
JunkMates serves San Diego County, with regular service in Carlsbad, Downtown, Del Mar, La Jolla, San Diego, El Cajon, Vista, Chula Vista, Oceanside, and Escondido. The service range runs from Oceanside down to Petco Park.
What items do you not take?
JunkMates does not take away hazardous waste or chemicals. For anything else, ask at the estimate and the crew will let you know what can be hauled.
Do you take appliances?
Yes, any and all appliances. Water heaters and dishwashers must be unhooked before they can be taken away.
How much does mattress removal cost?
Mattress removal runs between $100 and $140, depending on the size of the mattress.
Do you donate or recycle items?
Both. JunkMates donates items ranging from clothes and books to full-sized furniture, and recycles paper and thin plastic items.
