FAQs
What is the Gonstead method of chiropractic?
The Gonstead method focuses on the body's structural foundation and the intervertebral discs. It uses a full spinal analysis that can include X-rays, Nervoscope readings, and palpation to find misalignments, then targets only the exact vertebrae that need adjusting.
Do you treat disc injuries without surgery?
Yes. The clinic offers non-surgical spinal decompression on the DRX9000, which can be combined with Gonstead chiropractic care for disc problems.
Will I need X-rays?
X-rays will only be taken if clinically necessary. When they are needed they show important information about the spine that helps guide where treatment should focus.
Are you on my insurance plan?
It depends, because there are thousands upon thousands of different insurance plans. Bring your insurance card to your visit and the office will verify your coverage.
What do the new patient specials include?
The $49 chiropractic special for new patients includes a consultation and exam, X-rays, an MRI review at no charge, and the doctor's report of findings on day two. The $79 disc injury special for new patients adds spinal decompression on day two.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on the severity of the condition, how long it has been present, your exercise habits, weight, stress level, and whether degeneration has already begun. Mild problems may improve in a couple of days to a couple of weeks, while difficult cases can take months to years.
What are your hours?
The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM, and on Saturday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. It is closed on Sunday.
What other services do you offer besides chiropractic?
Along with Gonstead chiropractic care, the clinic offers physiotherapy and rehabilitation, massage therapy, red light therapy, vitamin IV therapy, vitamin injections, weight loss, and X-rays.
